Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and transforming processes at scale? As Head in Quality Excellence, you will lead the development and implementation of quality strategies, ensuring that Roche’s Pharma Development Quality (PDQ) function operates optimally and efficiently. Your work will shape the future of quality management, enabling innovation, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement across Roche and the industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Quality Excellence & Strategy: Lead and implement a forward-thinking Quality Excellence strategy, ensuring efficient and consistent quality outcomes across all PDQ functions.

  • Champion Innovation & Data-Driven Insights: Leverage digital transformation and data analytics, to enhance workforce planning, resourcing, and capability development to industry standard of Critical to Quality (CtQ) Factors.

  • Optimise Quality Infrastructure & Processes: Streamline and enhance end-to-end PDQ infrastructure, enabling effective operations and seamless execution of business initiatives.

  • Lead & Inspire a High-Performing Team: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, developing talent and driving strategic collaborations across Roche and the industry.

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices, with expertise in quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements (GCP, GVP, MDR, SaMD).

  • Proven leadership in business transformation, process optimisation, and change management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data and technology to streamline operations.

  • Experience leading diverse, global teams, with a track record of developing talent and driving impact.

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to work across functions, from senior leadership to operational teams.

Our UK Pharmaceutical head office is situated in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, with beautiful countryside surrounding the area.
