About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will contribute to designing, implementing, and improving quality and QEHS management systems across our logistics operations.
You will support audits, investigate quality issues, create documentation, and collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.

This position requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the site.
This is a full-time, on-site role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, implementation, and improvement of ISO and QEHS management systems. 

  • Contribute to creating and improving logistics processes from both safety and quality perspectives.

  • Investigate operational quality issues, document findings, and report them to relevant stakeholders.

  • Prepare, update, and maintain quality documentation (e.g., process flows, FMEA, control plans).

  • Apply quality tools and techniques such as statistical analysis, 5 Why, Ishikawa diagrams, and 8D.

  • Register and distribute internal DPW documents (Safety Alerts, OPLs) and coordinate related trainings.

  • Participate in accident and incident investigations and support corrective action coordination.

  • Take part in introducing new processes and systems, ensuring quality considerations are addressed.

  • Participate in internal, external, and customer audits and support documentation preparation.

  • Track audit corrective actions, check their effectiveness, and contribute to the annual audit program.

  • Participate in regular site walks, record deviations, and support action implementation.

  • Monitor KPI performance and prepare monthly closing reports.

  • Support operational teams in defining and implementing quality improvements and countermeasures. 

  • Take part in Lean/5S/Kaizen initiatives and improvement projects.

  • Handle daily, weekly, and monthly reporting duties.

Objective & Responsibility
  • Ensure high-quality logistics services and continuous improvement of processes.

  • Contribute to building a strong safety and quality culture aligned with DP World's principles.

  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, fire protection, environmental, and legal regulations.

  • Minimize and help prevent quality-related costs and risks.

  • Use company assets responsibly and ensure timely reporting of equipment or process issues.

  • Protect data and information according to data protection requirements.

Requirements

✔️ University degree (preferably in engineering or technical fields)
✔️ Strong written and spoken English skills
✔️ Experience or strong interest in quality systems, audits, or QEHS frameworks
✔️ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔️ Strong communication skills with a respectful and open approach
✔️ Reliability, responsibility, and accuracy in documentation
✔️ Ability to make quick, well-informed decisions and remain calm under pressure
✔️ Proactive and improvement-driven mindset

Nice to Have

➕ Experience in logistics or automotive quality processes
➕ Knowledge of ISO standards, QHSE systems, and audit methodologies
➕ Experience with quality tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, SPC)
➕ Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or 5S initiatives
➕ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
