About the role 

At Artifex, quality is built into everything we do. We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Quality Coordinator to join our Scunthorpe team and play a key role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while making a visible impact on product quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. As a Quality Coordinator, you will work closely with production, warehouse and quality teams, supporting audits, inspections, problem-solving activities and continuous improvement projects. 

Key responsibilities 

About you 

We are looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right and enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems. You will ideally bring experience from a quality-focused manufacturing environment, together with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. We welcome candidates who are analytical, adaptable, self-motivated and passionate about continuous improvement. 

  • Conduct process audits, patrol inspections and product quality assessments. 
  • Support manufacturing teams in identifying, containing and resolving quality concerns. 
  • Manage first-off and last-off approvals using quality systems and software. 
  • Maintain quality documentation, reports, alerts and compliance records. 
  • Contribute to investigations, root-cause analysis, measurement studies, calibration activities and continuous improvement projects.
