Quality Controller required - immediate start!
Role and Responsibilities
At one of the end processes of refurbishing used mobile phone handsets, we require individuals with a good eye for detail and patience to help detect any faults with our refurbished and repaired Mobile Phones before being dispatched for delivery.
Day to day duties include:
- Assessment of various mobile handsets with the ability to grade goods accurately
- Monitor and control non-conforming products (returns, rejects, quarantine)
- Handling of defective material / devices
- Liaising with engineers and technicians to repair/refurbish goods to a better standard
- Continuously looking at ways to improve the grade/standard of refurbished phones
- Evaluating and testing products
Additional duties include:
- Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is adhered to throughout the company
- Follow company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and associated departmental procedures and working Instructions
Essential Experience
- Experience in visual evaluation of products.
- Experience in a similar position in previous role
Preferred Skills
- Ability to handle MAC
- Experience in visual evaluation of products
- Observational skills
- The ability to respond quickly to any inconsistencies and resolve any issues
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-disciplined and organised
- The ability to work under pressure when time is limited
- Working well within a team environment
The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30, 40 hours a week.
This is a temp to perm role offering up to £9 per hour on successful completion of the probationary period.
