Position Summary
The role supports Quality Control testing activities by performing essential laboratory maintenance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a versatile position covering all general lab maintenance areas—such as bacteria recovery, stock control, media preparation—as well as some testing of raw materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of bacterial cultures
- Testing of product accessories (e.g., dosing heads)
- Manufacture of agar media
- Monitoring and replenishing laboratory stock
- Conducting environmental monitoring in production areas
- Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment
- Equipment calibration
- Proper waste disposal
- Performing any additional duties within the scope of the role
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear and open communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team
- Flexibility to meet deadlines and adapt to workload demands
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
