What You’ll Be Doing

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure product quality. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing detailed test plans to validate product functionality, identify issues, and drive corrective actions. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure seamless user experiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manually test web and native applications across platforms
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans based on project requirements, ensuring all functionalities are thoroughly validated
  • Provide a breakdown of QA tasks and time estimates for planning
  • Log, track, and monitor defects in the defect tracking system
  • Contribute to the development of quality assurance standards and best practices
  • Collaborate in a highly interactive environment with software developers and product managers
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to share testing insights with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Exhibit creativity and critical thinking to uncover edge cases and potential risks

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in manual software testing
  • Proficiency in various testing types (functional, regression, integration, etc.) and methodologies
    Strong skills in designing and executing effective test casesExperience testing native iOS and Android applications
  • Familiarity with testing tools (such as Test Rails) and bug-tracking software (Jira)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating test documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • An ability to work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other team members to achieve those standards
  • Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours as necessary
  • Ability to “think outside the box”
  • Self-learning skills (Experience with e-learning platforms)
  • Knowledge or Experience with Automated Testing Tools, like Cypress, is a plus
  • Experience with Unit Testing is a plus
  • Coding skills are a plus
