We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of high-availability, API-driven applications through effective testing strategies and automation.
Hybrid role: Madrid, Spain. This position requires visiting the client's office 2-3 times per week.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for high-availability, API-enabled applications.
- Validate application functionality, performance, and reliability within complex environments.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17 (or higher) with Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation.
- Experience working with Apache Tomcat.
- Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
