The Role:

We are seeking a Pursuits Manager to join our innovative and collaborative Marketing and Business Development on the RFP team. This is a contract position, with the possibility to transition to a permanent full-time role based on performance and business needs. The role will primarily support GT’s attorneys and offices in the Middle East (Dubai, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi) and can be based in Berlin, London or our ME Offices. Arabic language skills are highly sought after, however we will consider people without this who have experience navigating in that market.

As Pursuits Manager, you will manage and draft key client pitches and responses to requests for proposals, develop and organize related collateral materials, and contribute to improving best practices across the firm. • Serve as a bridge between the US and EMEA teams, facilitating collaboration and coordination on select complex cross-border RFPs and proposals to ensure unified and strategic responses that leverage the firm’s global capabilities.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of RFP response libraries and tools relevant to the Middle East, ensuring strategic and customized responses.
  • Communicate with firm leadership and attorneys in the Middle East and across regions to ensure strategic and effective proposal responses, including navigating team selection, response approach, and other proposal-related challenges.
  • Regularly review RFP win/loss data and recommend creative adjustments to increase success rates in the region and on cross-border matters.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing team members to customize responses and improve win rates.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, especially among peer professional services firms operating in the Middle East and globally.
  • Supervise work assignments and projects as RFP Project Manager, facilitating internal communications with groups such as conflicts, pricing, and IT compliance.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for team members, ensuring awareness of department protocols and information sources.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support additional projects as assigned.
