About this role

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate Ozone’s expansion into global markets. This role is pivotal in driving our growth, requiring strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Expand global footprint: Drive the growth of Ozone’s premium publisher network in key global markets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: Own the entire process—from lead generation and pipeline management to forecasting, contracting, onboarding, and activation.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and Technical Account Management teams to onboard, scale, and optimize new partnerships.
  • Pipeline & opportunity management: Partner with BD colleagues to refine sales processes, enhance pipeline accuracy, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Organisational excellence: Maintain meticulous coordination across teams, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication between Business Development, Account Management, and other key stakeholders.
  • Product & strategy: Stay aligned with Ozone’s go-to-market and customer success teams to leverage the latest capabilities and roadmap developments.
  • Build lasting relationships: Cultivate strong connections with internal and external stakeholders to drive long-term business success.

Required experience/ skills

  • Early years experience in business development or publisher sales.
  • Very well-organised and detail-oriented, particularly when managing contracts and agreements.
  • Strong process management and development skills, ensuring efficiency and scalability in operations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep passion for digital advertising and a solid understanding of commercial strategy.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Consultative sales approach, capable of educating and engaging clients effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Multilingual skills (French, German, Italian, or Spanish) are a plus, though not required.
