JD.com is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to strategize and execute our public relations campaigns across our international markets with a primary focus on the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing JD.com's brand image via active PR campaigns, managing online social media platforms, and coordinating with various business units to ensure a cohesive and effective global PR strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global online and offline public relations campaign strategy that aligns with JD.com's business goals and brand values.
  • Lead and manage PR activities, including media outreach, press releases, PR events, and speaking opportunities for executives.
  • Oversee the creation of PR content, ensuring it is consistent, timely, and impactful across different regions and cultures.
  • Monitor global online and offline media coverage, analyze PR campaign performance, and provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing, investor relations, and other departments to ensure integrated communications and brand consistency.
  • Provide PR guidance and support for product launches, consumer campaigns, corporate initiatives, and partnerships in multiple markets.
  • Stay abreast of global trends, industry challenges, and opportunities to position JD.com as a thought leader and innovator in the e-commerce space.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in communications, with a proven track record in managing PR campaigns in the UK and other European countries, ideally with both agency and in-house experience.
  • Experience in social media and digital PR campaigns.
  • Experience in the e-commerce, technology or retail industry is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories that resonate with a global audience.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to PR and a keen understanding of the media landscape.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • A deep understanding of cross-cultural communication and the ability to tailor messaging to different markets is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages such as French, German, Dutch, or Chinese is a plus.
  • Experience in crisis management and corporate communication is a plus.
