Our Team

Our Growth Office is responsible for ensuring enhanced cross-selling, great government relations, impactful strategic partnerships and a world class win work function.  We also support the key enablers of the strategic growth plan such as private finance and investigate and incubate new fields of play to help generate new revenue.

We want to hear from you

We are seeking experienced Proposal Writers with experience of generative AI tools. The roles will be in our Win Work Excellence Group [or a front-line Business Unit] and  responsible for developing high quality, compliant and persuasive content for inclusion in our written proposals for strategic pursuits.

• Draft, edit, and proof-read written content to articulate our value proposition and win themes clearly and effectively.
• Leverage AI tools to support efficient and effective content generation, summarisation, research, and proofreading.
• Use AI to help analyse tender documents and research the client organisation and key stakeholders to support development of content that resonates with the evaluator.
• Work with a broad range of Subject Matter Experts to provide relevant technical information such as methodologies, benefits delivered, and evidence to support development of written content. Translate complex technical content into plain English. Engage SMEs to validate accuracy.
• Review tender documentation to ensure written content fully addresses requirements and scoring criteria.
• Ensure high quality written content is captured in our Proposal Information Hub for use in future proposals.
• Proactively research and implement new AI tools and techniques to continuously improve proposal writing.

The ideal candidate will bring a track record of writing winning proposals for complex major projects, with a passion for increasing efficient and effectiveness through the adoption of generative AI solutions.  Skills and experience should include:

• A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• A proven ability to write and edit clear, persuasive, and technically accurate content.
• Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted writing, including generative AI (e.g., for drafting initial content).
• An understanding of how to craft effective prompts to maximise the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content.
• The ability to quickly grasp and translate complex engineering concepts into understandable language for a diverse audience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• A meticulous and thorough approach to ensure all submissions are error-free and compliant.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple proposals and strict deadlines.

Security clearance
