Job Description

This strategic role plays a pivotal part in our success by leading the development and delivery of winning proposals that secure new business and strengthen existing client relationships. You'll be the architect of compelling narratives, the translator of complex solutions, and the champion of IQ-EQ's value proposition in every proposal you create. 

As a Proposal Manager at IQ-EQ, you will play a key role in securing new business and strengthening existing client relationships by crafting compelling proposals that showcase the value of IQ-EQ’s products and services. You will be a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a master of understanding client needs and translating them into winning proposals. 

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Proposal development and management: 
    • Lead the proposal creation process from RFP receipt to final submission, ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic objectives. 
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the organisation to gather in-depth insights and tailor solutions to client challenges. 
    • Craft persuasive and engaging narratives that showcase IQ-EQ's unique capabilities and differentiate us from the competition. 
    • Manage proposal timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality documents on time and within budget. 
    • Contribute to the maintenance of the bid database by enhancing existing content and sourcing new content
  • Client engagement and relationship building: 
    • Partner with sales teams to understand client needs, build relationships, and actively participate in the sales cycle. 
    • Present proposals for clients with confidence and professionalism, answering questions and addressing concerns effectively 
    • Gather feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to refine proposal processes and continuously improve proposal success rates 
  • Communication and collaboration: 
    • Maintain clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the proposal development process. 
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments to ensure proposals are comprehensive and integrated. 
    • Foster a culture of teamwork and excellence within the proposal team. 
    • Contribute to the bid team’s reporting and KPIs 

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering winning proposals in a professional services environment. 
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to tailor content to different audiences. 
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills. 
  • A deep understanding of the financial services industry and IQ-EQ's service offerings. 
  • A results-oriented approach with a passion for exceeding client expectations. 
  • Proficiency in proposal management software tools (e.g., RFPIO/Responsive, Proposify, Qvidian).
