ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager is responsible for managing the Implementation Project Office, all IT suppliers involved in setting up and delivering technology for new store openings. Unlike a traditional PMO, this team directly oversees the technical implementation work—covering POS installation, data network configuration, and stock management systems for all new locations.
What You’ll Do
Oversee a team that sets up systems and applications for new stores. Proces maintained for the implementation of POS, Stock Management, Data Connectivity, Security and Telephony changes in new and existing stores. Test and troubleshoot functionality of installed systems, identifying and documenting technical issues and ensuring their appropriate escalation and resolution.
May work with clients on-site or remotely to provide installation assistance. Provides complete professional service support, including the integration of products into existing processes and systems to meet client needs and expectations.
Responsibilties:
- Independently leads small team providing technical input for implementations and projects across both new and development and, deployments work streams.
- Maintains change documents and seeks approval for Change Requests.
- Expedites equipment and service solutions as needed.
- Liaises with PMs to derive content and plans for change controls and store communications.
- Applies project management best practices to all implementation activity.
- Documents, updates and maintains new and development information to facilitate PM workload planning.
- Provides user support to ensure customer expectations are met / exceeded.
- Serves as focal point for assigned customers, addressing questions, issues and concerns.
- Medium to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Implementation and Transformation.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
