What You Will Do
- Interpret and understand clients' technical specifications and commercial documentation/contracts.
- Coordinate and manage deliverable packages.
- Work with the design manager to request resources based on contract deliverables.
- Obtain supplier quotes and procure equipment.
- Organize goods shipment and generate all required shipping documentation.
- Communicate daily with the project team.
- Manage contract/project plans (using MS Project).
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
- Oversee project finances, including:
- Revenue and billing forecasts
- Contract cost control and financial reporting
- Progress and financial reports for Tyco management
- Attend internal contract review meetings monthly.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- Travel within the UK and occasionally overseas as required.
What We’re Looking ForEssential
- Proven experience in project management
- Strong communication skills for direct client and team liaison
- Ability to interpret technical specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Full UK driving license
- Eligibility for SC UK MOD security clearance (arranged post-offer)
Preferred
- Project management qualifications
- HNC/HND in Engineering or related field
- Background in the marine industry
- Experience with Ministry of Defence contracts
- Expertise in the fire protection or fire detection industry (fire role)
- Knowledge of HVAC/chilled water plant systems (HVAC role)
