Your position
As (Junior) Project Manager Airports & Parcel Solutions, it's your job to set up a project and keep an eye on how every aspect of a project is progressing as per plan. You will have ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of one or more Material Handling projects and form the link between the client, the team at Vanderlande and subcontractors.
We expect an autonomous and client-oriented approach. We also expect the ability to manage projects worth up to 5 million or to be responsible for a part of a large complex project (> € 50 million) under supervision of a Project Director.
You will manage projects with tight deadlines and work in and with different cultures. You will deliver realistic project plans and have the ability to implement them such that the achievement of all of the following relevant key factors is guaranteed: customer satisfaction, expectation management, time, budget, quality and safety.
During the implementation phase you will have commercial responsibility, eventually resulting in a successful acceptance of your projects by the customer and the internal service organization.
Your department
The Vanderlande Customer Centre Airports & Parcel Solutions NEME is active in the NEME region to design, deliver and service solutions for airports and parcel customers. As we are expecting growth, we are looking for a Project Manager with the potential and ambition to further develop and professionalize in Project Management.
Your profile
If you are the (Junior) Project Manager we are looking for, you will recognize yourself in these characteristics:

- As a natural team-player, you sense stakeholder’s concerns and their needs for information and attention.
- You have an excellent command of the English language. Additional language mastering can be a plus.
- We are open to starters, as well as candidates with up to 5 years’ experience in project execution in a technical and challenging environment. Your next career step is managing the team instead of being part of the team.
- You have completed a technical program at Bachelor or Master's level.
- Experience/affinity with IT/OT software as part of automation projects is preferred.
- International working experience is a plus.
- You have affinity with logistics and/or industrial automation.
- As you will be working among others for our Dutch customers, you are expected to have proficiency in Dutch.
- Would be willing to spend 25% of your time (on average) travelling.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4.600 - € 5.500 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
