Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Light and Wonder Spark team. In this role, you’ll lead Custom Game Development projects and other key initiatives, collaborating closely with both technical and non-technical teams. This role requires a strong communicator adept at managing diverse stakeholders and capable of driving projects to successful delivery within challenging timelines.

Responsibilities of a Project Manager: 

  • Project Planning and Delivery: Plan, manage, and execute custom game delivery projects on tight schedules, working closely with internal teams (e.g., compliance, QA, content) and external stakeholders to meet milestones and exceed expectations. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with customers to define game requirements, agree on timelines, and coordinate the game launch. 

  • Communication and Updates: Provide clear and timely project updates, ensuring consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Accountability and Milestones: Set, monitor, and enforce project milestones, holding team members accountable to timelines and quality standards. 

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as necessary to maintain project momentum and meet goals. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Innovate and improve communication processes, project management tools, and workflows to optimise efficiency and project outcomes. 

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience 

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience managing software projects with challenging timelines, ideally using methodologies like Agile or Waterfall. 

  • Multitasking and Prioritisation: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering quality results. 

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing stakeholder expectations and fostering collaborative relationships. 

  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised, with an eye for detail, accuracy, and professionalism. 

  • Adaptability and Proactivity: Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, bringing forward solutions and innovative ideas proactively. 

  • Regulatory Experience: Prior experience in a regulated online environment is essential, as our projects require rigorous adherence to certification and regulation standards. 

 

It’d also be great to see these skills/experiences as well: 

  •  Knowledge of the gambling industry (specifically Casino) 

  • Familiar with project management tools (e.g., Jira and Monday)
