About Us

Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. Following the close of a $200M Series B, valuing the company at $1.4 billion, we are expanding our teams and capabilities to deliver mission-critical systems to allied forces.

Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be the core driver of our product development from the pilot phase through to industrialization and mass production.

You are responsible for the meticulous coordination of cross-functional internal teams, ensuring technical and operational requirements are met, and resolving program-level blockers to maintain critical schedules. Your leadership will ensure Harmattan AI's innovative drone technology successfully transitions into large-scale, series production, while adhering to the centralized product vision, scoping, and roadmap set by the Product Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery of complex, series-produced drone systems.

  • Program Execution: Drive the drone product development process from engineering pilot to full industrialization.

  • Project Oversight: Guarantee that all deliverables meet established technical and operational requirements, ensuring end-to-end delivery success.

  • Issue & Risk Management: Proactively track and resolve program-level blockers, both technical and administrative, and manage project risks.

  • Enabler Identification: Identify missing project enablers and escalate internally to unblock delivery or alignment with production goals.

Candidate Requirements

  • Mandatory experience in the drone industry.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within a technology or manufacturing sector.

  • Expertise in managing large-scale, series projects and complex deliveries, including experience in mass production environments.

  • Exclusive focus on project management in your career history.

  • Proven track record of coordinating technical teams to achieve production milestones.

  • Ability to manage programs in cutting-edge/disruptive environments.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward success.

We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
