We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager - SCM Application Operations to sit within the EU market team, based in our London office. You will be reporting into the IT Manager, working closely with inventory control team, operations and IT team in Japan at a EU and global level. 

You will be improving the productivity of the stock control team, which is essential for achieving strong business growth. This is an opportunity for a highly analytical, results driven individual who is able to build and maintain strong working partnerships. You will be an integral part of the communication for the supply chain management operations to ensure that our ROI is achieved. 

What you will be responsible for:

  • SCM Application Operations (50% FTE)

    • Oversee the day-to-day operation of SCM application which was developed by HQ in Japan to ensure system availability, performance

    • Collaborate with IT team and vendors in Japan to resolve technical issues

    • Collaborate with UNIQLO inventory control team, store operation team to resolve operational issues and implement enhancements

    • Develop and maintain operational procedures, training materials for SCM application

  • Business Process Reengineering (50% FTE)

    • Define business and system requirements for SCM and related system throughout discussion with UNIQLO inventory control team 

    • Analysing the supply chain data to understand problems, identify reasons and work out possible solutions or putting alternative plans in place

    • Convincing HQ team of the specific requirements in the EU region by quantifying the ROI

    • Lead the project management activities for SCM application enhancement including, budgeting, project planning, monitoring

    • Communicate project status, updates, risks to stakeholders and senior management

Skills, Experience and Attributes: 

  • Must have 

    • Experience in multiple IT project management in SCM application or related technologies started from business requirements definition.

    • Experience in multiple IT project management in SCM application or related technologies started from business requirements definition.

    • Understanding of Supply Chain Management process including inventory management

    • Excellent communication skill to collaborate with stakeholders in multiple countries, external parties.

  • Nice to have

    • Experience in system development from coding to system tests by using basic technology such as SQL.

    • Experience in the IT department of the Retail industry.

    • Ability and eagerness to expand own capability of business area coverage.

    • Business level English proficiency, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in both written and verbal forms

    • SCM application implementation or maintenance experience (i.e. Anaplan)
