Project Manager – SAP MDG

As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we will be kicking off a significant Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA, and as such we have created several positions to support this enterprise project.
Role Purpose:
The Role of SAP MDG Coordinator involves coordinating the global implementation of the Lonza enterprise master data management solution using SAP MDG technology. The project is an integrated component of the Data & Information Architecture Workstream Lonza’s S/4HANA transformation program “Nexus”.
The PM MDG will lead solution design, development, and global deployment in harmonious collaboration with the S/4HANA implementation partner and internal collaborators.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact ERP transformation project with exposure to cutting-edge SAP technologies. The role is critical to ensuring that the organization leverages S/4HANA to drive business value and operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the overall MDG project management in collaboration with the implementation partner counterpart. PM tasks involve project planning, achievement tracking, progress reporting, and alignment with the overall Nexus PMO.
- Delivery of the end-to-end MDM interim- and target solutions for master data management based on SAP MDG technology and outside of MDG (external connectors)
- The Project Coordinator MDG facilitates the project in partnership with the implementation partner following the agreed RACI document.
- Drives process excellence, strengthens master data governance, and ensures the MDG system is set up to enable a high quality e2e process execution.
- Delivers global MDG deployments and SME trainings together with the implementation partner
- Implements standard methodologies, documentation as well as compliance with policies and procedures and robust internal controls.
Key requirements:
- Extensive expertise in SAP ERP data and project management; SAP MDG experience
- Strong background in project coordination
- PM certifications advantageous but not essential
- Evidence of working on high value projects
- Good communication skills with ability to work with multi functional teams
