Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager in Roads and Highways Design Engineering in Boston!
This is a unique opportunity to spearhead growth in the New England market, closely collaborating with our flagship Bridge team and partnering with other transportation engineering groups. Play a key role in local expansion while contributing to a firm with a global reach. Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management and client management on transportation-related projects.

  • Develop production work plans, schedules and budgets.

  • Lead roadway project team in analysis and design. Oversee performance of complex design.

  • Ensure proper codes and standards are being used on projects.

  • Work with project teams in supervising/mentoring technical staff and assistant project managers.

  • Supervise, coordinate and review the work of other engineers and designers.

  • Responsible for the successful completion of projects under his/her direction.

  • Perform business development, identify leads, attend client marketing meetings and industry events.

  • Serve as pursuit manager and lead author for marketing proposals and presentations.

  • Lead or assist with contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 

  • Must have a Massachusetts P.E. license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.

  • Significant, relevant engineering and management experience in transportation related design projects.

  • Demonstrable effective team leadership and project management experience, as well as the ability to prepare comprehensive engineering reports.

  • Existing relationships with MassDOT preferred, as well as knowledge of their policies and procedures.

  • Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D software.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.


 

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $98,000 - $175,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
