Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to work on retail and office projects in Madrid.

Key responsabilities

  • Planning, cost, and risk management throughout the entire project lifecycle:
  • from the design concept through to project completion.
  • Coordination of design and engineering teams and the client’s direct teams/suppliers
  • Preparation of minutes, reports, and documentation to inform the client of the project’s status
  • and decisions to be made
  • Solicitation of bids from contractors and, in some cases, technical teams
  • Technical consulting during the pre-project phase (space leasing)

 

In addition, the individual must participate in and contribute to the Management System by understanding and implementing the following:

 

  • Compliance with Quality and Environmental policies.
  • Application of the Best Environmental Practices Manual.
  • Compliance with SyS’s global policies and standards.

 

    Qualifications

    To succeed in this position, you must have:

    • Experience: At least 5 years of solid, demonstrable experience in fit and out retail and office projects.
    • Education: Degree in Building Engineering or Technical Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. In any case, a specialist in construction and building systems.
    • Professional Skills and Knowledge: Office 365, Microsoft Project, and English (constant communication with English-speaking clients will be required, as well as leading technical meetings). 90% of the time, work will be conducted in English.
    • Technical Competencies: In-depth knowledge and mastery of the role and its responsibilities, on-site health and safety standards, and sustainability standards.
    • Personal Skills: Coordination and planning abilities. Strong communication skills with clients and a strong ability to drive results by influencing others to achieve objectives
