Project Manager - FTC 12 Months
Come join Thredd as a Project Manager based in our London office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be at the forefront of payments innovation, supporting our rapid growth as we continually launch new products, services, and processes to stay ahead in the industry.
As our Project Manager, you’ll drive the successful and timely delivery of high-impact platform and back-office change projects, helping to shape the future of our business and enable our ongoing growth.
What you'll do
- Drive and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, achieving results in fast-paced environments.
- Lead project planning and initiation, partnering with stakeholders to define vision, objectives, and deliverables, and crafting detailed roadmaps balancing timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create, maintain, and continuously improve project plans for alignment and progress.
- Map and manage internal and external dependencies to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Champion resource planning and management, optimizing team capabilities and strategic allocation.
- Utilise RAID logs and dynamic dashboards for real-time portfolio visibility and proactive risk management.
- Bridge technical and business teams, translating complex requirements into actionable plans and ensuring clarity on technical needs.
- Anticipate and communicate challenges early, identifying risks and delays, and offering solutions or escalation paths.
- Engage stakeholders across business, technology, and operations to drive GRC initiatives and support change adoption.
- Build strong relationships with all delivery partners, and provide regular, insightful updates to sponsors, executives, and board members on progress, issues, and system changes, while ensuring projects stay within budget.
What you’ll need
- Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects
- Experience in leading change relating to payments
- Experience working in the payments or financial services industry
- Experience working with Software Engineering teams and SDLC projects
- Experience of delivering organisational change involving changes to people, processes, technology and ways of working
- Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project or similar project planning tools
- The ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of proactively taking ownership of project planning, working with other internal teams from requirements through to initial support post-handover to BAU

This role is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days a week in the London office.
This is a fixed-term contract position for 12 months.
