About the Project Manager role
We are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join us in our London office on an initial twelve month fixed term contract. As an innovative provider of card and payment processing, we are continually developing new products, services and processes. The Project Manager will ensure the successful and timely delivery of key (often strategic) platform and back-office change projects across our business.
What you will be doing as a Project Manager
- Managing and delivering multiple projects concurrently
- Project planning and initiation. Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
- Developing plans including timelines, resources and budget estimates to deliver required outcomes.
- Working with internal teams and 3rd parties to draw up, maintain and continually review project plans.
- Dependency mapping and management (Internal and External)
- Resource planning and resource management
- RAID Logs, dashboards across portfolio of projects
- Liaising with internal teams on the technical detail of requirements
- Proactively anticipating and communicating early on potential challenges and delays as well as offering workarounds/mitigation or escalating where needed
- Working across a variety of stakeholder in business, technology and operations to drive GRC activities, supporting stakeholders in adopting new changes.
- Building and managing relationships with each party involved in delivery (Suppliers/Partners/Clients)
- Providing regular updates to all stakeholders (e.g., Sponsors, Exec, Board) on all aspects of project progress, including any issues and system changes
- Track cost/resource and work to agreed budgets as required.
What you will bring to the Project Manager position
- Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects
- Experience in leading change relating to payments
- Experience working in the payments or financial services industry
- Experience working with Software Engineering teams and SDLC projects
- Experience of delivering organisational change involving changes to people, processes, technology and ways of working
- Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project or similar project planning tools
- The ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of proactively taking ownership of project planning, working with other internal teams from requirements through to initial support post-handover to BAU
Additional Information:
We employ a hybrid working model so you would be required to work from the London office 50% of the time. Thredd operates in a secure environment and all candidates will be credit and background checked to the extent permitted by law.
