We’re hiring for a Project Manager – Enterprise Data to join our Global Enterprise Data team in London.
Purpose of the Role
As Project Manager you’ll be part of dentsu’s global Enterprise Data team, specifically supporting the Data Retention Program, our AI Classification and Categorization initiative, and Master Service Set (MSS) capability, focused on data management and governance, data quality, operational efficiency, business platform integration, and compliance across the enterprise.
You’ll coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, support change management, and manage the tasks associated with the implementation of Enterprise Data standards and data retention rules and policies across platforms and regions. This is a mid‑level, self‑directed role suited for someone experienced in managing technical or data-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management; Manage day-to-day execution of assigned projects, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline and budget. Creating and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with resource availability and BAU constraints and managing interdependencies across related projects and functions.
- Project Reporting & Documentation; Maintain accurate project documentation including meeting notes, action logs, RAID logs, business cases, and scope documents. Producing program summaries, dashboards, and presentation materials for leadership.
- Risk & Issue Management; Identify, document, and monitor project Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID), maintain RAID logs. Partnering with stakeholders and working with program leaders and stakeholders to develop mitigating actions and escalate when necessary.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management; Identify, engage, and coordinate with cross‑functional and market level leaders and partners in all business domains and technical areas of the business organising stakeholder participation and facilitating partnerships across the business as needed.
- Requirements Gathering & Business Case Development; Assist program leaders in developing and refining business cases and project initiation documents (PIDs) and support the collection and documentation of business and functional requirements tied to project/program related solutions including supporting test and release activities.
- Communications & Change Management; Work with leadership and functional team members to develop and manage a comprehensive change and communications strategies to support programs and initiatives, aligning messaging across global and regional communications teams.
Qualifications + Skills
- Strong Project management experience, preferably in data, technology, operations, or governance environments.
- Strong familiarity with data retention, data governance, or compliance-driven programs.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to self-direct, managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight in large, matrixed, or global organizations with multiple business units.
- Experience coordinating with global and cross‑functional teams, able to adapt communication style between business, marketing, and technical audiences.
- Experience with tools such as ADO, Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
