This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your knowledge by leading the project team members to fulfill project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the project result.
The work model for the role is: onsite or hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Automation Energy Industries area for our customers located in Switzerland and abroad, in the field of power generation, waste-to-energy, infrastructures. Main stakeholders are your customers, the lead engineers and various team members of our local division.
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Facilitating the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role

  • You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration, complemented by relevant technical skills.
  • You are able to demonstrate your experience in project management or technical team coordination with external customers as key stakeholders.
  • You have 5 years of experience in project management or 10 years as a lead engineer and willing to develop as a project manager.
  • You are willing to stand for your responsibilities in the name of your project team and interested to further learn and growth within our local organization, in particular with the power generation market.
  • You are innovative around internal execution processes and tools to ensure continuous improvements in your field of application.
  • You are adept at communicating in German and English, French is a beneficial.
  • You hold current a valid in work permit in Switzerland.
