About the Role:
The CrowdStrike Technical Operations team is looking for a Deployment Project Manager for Crowdstrike's data centers. Crowdstrike has numerous data centers across the globe and this role is critical to support our deployments. This position will facilitate continued data center operations by planning, scoping, managing, and communicating all deployment needs.
This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, robust, fast-paced and challenging environment. Candidates should be interested in expanding their breadth of knowledge, constantly learning new technologies and processes, solving difficult problems, coming up with creative and unorthodox solutions and thinking well on their feet.
What You'll Do:

  • Understand the design, build & delivery of data center critical infrastructure & network capacity.
  • Develop, manage, review and research complex multi-faceted hardware deployment projects as well as larger scale construction project plans, and operational challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented challenges.
  • Work effectively and professionally with multiple engineering teams across internal organizations and worldwide.
  • Build trusted relationships with immediate team, external stakeholders, and service partners to influence decisions for the benefit of the business.
  • Conduct periodic project meetings with core teams to manage progress, provide feedback and assist in addressing concerns, removing roadblocks and mitigating issues through communication and information sharing.
  • Periodically provide reports on projects based on documented schedules.
  • Develop or improve processes and documentation to support the lifecycle of projects. Make recommendations for improvements and upgrades and assist in the development and documentation of technical standards.
  • Manage, schedule, perform and coordinate physical audits of assets to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new products and services by researching, analyzing, and implementing hardware modifications and upgrades to resolve deficiencies.
  • Perform capacity and resource planning, including assessing risks and developing contingency plans.
  • Mentor less experienced project managers and engineers on an ongoing and often formal basis.
  • Observe, identify, and do what is necessary to move the company forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization. Do the right thing, and you'll be supported.


What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of project management or program management experience working in a professional data center focused technical environment.
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including, but not limited to: engineering, product management, and finance.
  • Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions.
  • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
  • Ability to work with teams in multiple time zones as well as independently.
  • Manage completion of assigned complex and/or long-term projects within budget and schedule guidelines.
  • Capable of working on multiple complex projects at a time and prioritizing appropriately.
  • Demonstrated outstanding team building skills with the ability to improve interaction and efficiency as well as the ability to break down barriers / silos.
  • Must be willing to work hours that take advantage of US time zones as much as possible

  • Familiarity with Data Center construction, operations and general functionality
  • Experience with technical products as they relate to data centers.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Customer focused attitude.
  • Exposure to/experience with cybersecurity and intelligence.
  • Experience in working in or with teams supporting a data center environment
  • Experience with Jira, Microsoft and Google office tools.
