Project Management - Early Careers

1 year fixed term industrial placement


What to expect day to day:

Camlin has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Project Management Team who are responsible for managing a variety of project types including new product development / implementation and business initiatives.

Camlin are at the cutting edge of new product development and the scope of work being managed is significant, interesting and rewarding.

Camlin are growing which is resulting in various internal projects being run to help the business develop. Project Managers involved in a variety of projects including implementing new internal systems, new business offices, and implementation of new business processes / standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting project managers with a variety of activities including:
  • Project planning and scheduling.
  • Management of project delivery activities.
  • Project huddles and monthly senior.
  • Project reporting and presentations.
  • Project governance reviews.
  • Help support the administration of Camlin’s Project Management Platform (Cora).
  • Take part in the Project Management Teams on-going continuous improvement initiative
  • Undertake any other duties that are required to ensure the smooth operation of the Project Management function.


Essential Criteria:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, keen to learn and develop industry and product knowledge.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effectively Prioritise your Workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Qualifications:
Working towards a degree in Project Management, Business studies, Engineering
