This Position reports to:
Engineering Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also work with close collaboration with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, project managers and other internal stakeholders in the division. You will manage customer expectations and turn customer insights into the action. The position offers the opportunity to work on innovative and impactful Ports sector.
The work model for the role is: hybrid, #LIhybrid
This position is located in Västerås, Sweden. We will support possible relocation, if suitable candidate is found from Finland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- As a Lead Project Engineer, you are responsible for the coordination internally and externally in our Ports Automation projects.
- Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities.
- Executing assignments using established solutions while acting as interface with all stakeholders, especially customer.
- Leading, supervising, and coordinating engineering activities, also for creating, reviewing, tracking and responding to engineering change request.
- Supporting the Sales team in preparing technical offers for the new projects..

Qualifications for the role
- Sound knowledge of project management, processes and documentation.
- You have experience working within Ports industry, Paper, Mining or Power-plants in a similar position.
- You have ability to listen and willingness to learn. You are also a driven person who thrives in a leading role where you are self-reliant and can take responsibility and initiative.
- You have collaborative, solution-oriented approach with excellent communication skills that make you successful with both teamwork and customer relations.
- Degree from vocational school or Bachelor's degree.
- Willingness to travel approx. 30 days / year.
