About The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, managing, and commissioning wireless networks. You will work towards achieving key project milestones in compliance with TfL requirements for the London Underground environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage system installations and engineering solutions.

  • Oversee mobile/wireless projects from start to finish, including planning, implementation, progress monitoring, and quality assurance. This encompasses all aspects of design, installation, commissioning, and site integration, from initiation to customer acceptance.

  • Supervise installation subcontractors.

  • Develop and review site and health & safety documentation.

  • Evaluate radio designs of distributed antenna systems for indoor mobile coverage to ensure they meet client guidelines and specifications.

  • Conduct coverage measurement surveys, system design surveys, and system commissioning surveys.

  • Prepare system design and site survey documentation.
     

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in deploying wireless telecommunication networks and DAS installation.

  • Proven ability to manage suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Strong commercial awareness.

  • Knowledge of GSM, UMTS, and LTE architectures and radio design principles.

  • Comprehensive understanding of health & safety regulations.
