The Project Engineer is responsible for executing product contracts by following engineering standards, evaluating and selecting engineering techniques, collaborating with suppliers and team members, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
The Project Engineer executes standard product contracts per engineering processing instructions.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Performs engineering work assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard industry engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to standard products.
- Works with equipment suppliers to size, select, specify, and purchase non-standard components to meet customer requirements, using company engineering standards and procedures.
- Provides necessary contract documentation for customer/shop requirements and subsequent follow-up assistance as required.
- Works with drafters to implement manufacturing and customer drawings and/or bills of materials.
- Works with company sales agents, customers, shop personnel, and Service department to satisfy each of their needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0 to 10 years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
