Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Performs engineering work assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
  • Evaluates, selects, and applies standard industry engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to standard products. 
  • Works with equipment suppliers to size, select, specify, and purchase non-standard components to meet customer requirements, using company engineering standards and procedures.
  • Provides necessary contract documentation for customer/shop requirements and subsequent follow-up assistance as required.
  • Works with drafters to implement manufacturing and customer drawings and/or bills of materials.
  • Works with company sales agents, customers, shop personnel, and Service department to satisfy each of their needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering 
  • 0 to 10 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Customer oriented 
  • Self-motivated 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Ability to thrive in a time-line driven environment 
  • Strong technical and analytical skills 
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve issues 
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills 
  • Provide on-time delivery of drawings, BOMs, and documentation to internal and external customers. 
  • Achieve target margins on Standard Products. 
  • Consider impact on customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous optimization of engineering processes.
