Job Description

My client is a leading contractor in the construction sector. We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to complete a 19month project from start to completion. You will be looking after the engineering team on RC frame.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and working with the Project Manager.
  • Site set up and compliance with health and safety.
  • Raising technical queries and being involved in design coordination.
  • To look after site engineering works and be a point of contact for the Site Engineers.
  • You will be required to do the initial setting out until the projects evolves and setting out engineers are appointed.
  • Look after temporary work design.
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessment and monthly program for the project.
  • Complete call off for rebar for the project.
  • To check rebar details for slab, columns and foundations.
  • Complete a hand over each block.

Project Engineer Requirements:

  • CSCS card.
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer working on RC Frame projects
  • Hold a SMSTS
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
