Job Description

A Junior PMO (Project Management Office) Co-ordinator is an entry-level role supporting project managers by performing administrative tasks, maintaining project documentation and logs, coordinating meetings, assisting with project planning and tracking, and escalating risks and issues within a larger programme.  This role helps standardise project management processes, provides analytical support, and facilitates communication between project teams, stakeholders, and the PMO.  This role is designed to act as a training ground for future project managers. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Administrative Support - Managing project documents, maintaining registers and logs, and organising project meetings.  
  • Project Support - Assisting with planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management tasks.  
  • Reporting & Analysis - Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports, tracking project progress, and providing data-driven information to stakeholders.  
  • PMO Function cover - Timesheet tracking, project creation, budget tracking 
  • Coordination - Facilitating communication between project teams, product managers, and the wider programme.  
  • Risk Management - Identifying and escalating project blockers, risks, and issues to senior management.  
  • Process Alignment - Ensuring projects adhere to established project management standards and governance within the PMO.  

Qualifications

  • Organisational Skills - Strong ability to keep track of details and maintain order in project activities.  
  • Communication Skills - Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders and provide clear reports.  
  • Analytical Skills - Capability to provide analytical and data-driven information for project decision-making.  
  • Understanding of Project Processes - A good grasp of the project lifecycle and methodologies.  
  • PMO Experience (preferred) - The candidate would benefit from entry-level exposure to the PMO function.  The role serves as a pathway into a project management career.  

Career Path 

  • This is often an entry-level position within the PMO, providing a foundation for a career at TT within project management.  
  • Experience will be gained in supporting projects from conception to completion.  
  • The role allows for progression to project management roles after gaining experience and developing key skills.
