Job Description

   

In this role, you'll gain valuable experience by supporting smaller consulting engagements, acting as a direct point of contact for our customers, and collaborating closely with senior Project Managers and Services Engagement Managers (SEMs). You'll also work hand-in-hand with our Operations team, contributing to all phases of the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing Smaller Consulting Projects: Take ownership of smaller consulting projects (typically under 10 days) across the EMEA region.

  • Customer Point of Contact: Serve as a primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout their consulting engagements.

  • Project Lifecycle Support: Assist with all aspects of project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities.

  • Documentation & Workflow: Help manage project requirements, scope, and change request paperwork and workflows.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with both the Consulting team and the CFL Operations team to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Forecasting & Resource Management: Participate in weekly revenue forecasting and resource management processes.

  • Team Support: Provide general support to the Project Management team and offer cover for colleagues as needed.

  • Process Adherence: Comply with departmental processes, templates, company guidelines, and adapt to the evolving needs of the business.

  • Product Knowledge: Develop an understanding of SUSE's key product values, solutions, and overall strategy.

What You'll Bring:
  • Introductory Project Management Experience: You have some foundational experience or a strong understanding of project management principles.

  • Exceptional Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills are a must, allowing you to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Team Player: You thrive in a fast-paced, distributed team environment and enjoy collaborating with others.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.

  • Adaptability: A motivated self-starter who can quickly adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

  • Language Fluency: Fluent or native proficiency in English and French is required.

This position is subject to a background check(s), including criminal, credit, and/or employment references. The candidate is required to complete the background check(s) once an offer has been accepted. This will be conducted by SUSE’s external provider, where legally permitted.
