- Take ownership of the supply chain for a cutting-edge electron microscope product line.
- Work closely with expert teams in the UK and Germany, and with global suppliers.
- Drive supply chain strategies for new product launches and engineering changes.
- Negotiate contracts that deliver value whilst fostering strong partnerships.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Operations to bring revolutionary products to life.

- Acting as the Supply Chain Representative for new product introductions and redesign projects.
- Develop and execute innovative supply chain strategies aligned with Zeiss’s vision.
- Manage procurement processes with precision, from RFQs to purchase orders.
- Oversee engineering change management to ensure flawless execution.
- Address challenges head-on and implement creative solutions.
- Serve as the vital link between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring seamless communication.

- Solid experience in Supply Chain Management, New Product Introduction, Procurement or Project Management.
- Advanced SAP skills and expertise in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication .and negotiation prowess.
- A proactive mindset, with the flexibility to travel (10-20%) to Germany or supplier sites
