Team Mission 🚀 

The office management team at OakNorth is dedicated to creating a professional, welcoming, and efficiently run workplace environment. In this six-month fixed term contract, you will be providing essential support to ensure the success of our 2nd floor refurbishment, whilst also enabling the team to embed stronger processes and elevate the front-of-house experience for colleagues and guests.

Key responsibilities:

  • Facilities Maintenance: Assist the Office Manager in maintaining office equipment, furniture and general infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular checks of office and communal areas to identify maintenance issues
  • Liaise with external contractors for repairs, cleaning, and other facility services
  • Monitor and report faults in heating, space planning, and office layout adjustments
  • Health & Safety: Support the Office Manager in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Help with the planning and execution of the office refurbishment
  • Office Operations: Cover the office manager tasks when the Office Manager is on leave
  • Provide reception desk cover and work as part of the facilities team, supporting where necessary
  • Support the guest experience, welcoming visitors and ensuring a seamless experience
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Ensure meeting rooms, kitchens and rest areas are properly stocked and tidy
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and reorder as needed

Requirements:

  • Highly organised and detail orientated with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly  
  • A friendly, and professional demeanour, able to work cross-culturally and remain calm under pressure Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Familiar with office facilities and basic H&S procedures
  • flexible team player and happy to jump into different tasks
  • Available to start immediately
