The Markets Operations Automation and AI Transformation Programme is a multi-year transformation programme aimed at fundamentally redesigning how Markets Operations serves customers, manages operational resilience, and automates controls at scale.

The programme is made up of multiple workstreams spanning AI-enabled customer service, controls automation, incident prevention, and business process automation across LSEG Markets: FX, DSM, PTS, RRS, LCH Ltd, and LCH SA.

The role requires an experienced Senior Manager level Programme Manager who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, aligning senior stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Risk and Product, and translating strategic intent into executable plans with clear outcomes, controls and benefits.

Programme & Delivery Management
  • Own end-to-end delivery of defined work-streams within the Markets Operations Automation & AI Transformation Programme, from mobilisation through to scaled rollout and benefits realisation.
  • Work includes:
    • Customer query AI delivery
    • Controls automation
    • Business process automation
    • Redesign of customer reporting through modern alternative technologies
  • Maintain integrated delivery plans covering AI, automation, operating-model change and controls, ensuring dependencies across work-streams are actively managed.
  • Track progress against milestones, risks, issues, and benefits, escalating decisively where delivery, resilience or regulatory outcomes are at risk.
  • Manage cost effectively.
  • Drive operational excellence across program delivery, including scope, schedule, budget and quality management
  • Determine critical path for successful project delivery and actively manage dependencies to drive projects.
  • Develop OKRs and provide reporting updates on progress against projects to internal forums up to and including executive committee, boards and externally such as regulators.
  • Oversee PMO activities, ensuring robust governance, budgeting, forecasting, tracking cost, timely delivery and benefits of transformation projects.
  • Prepare and present materials for senior governance forums, including Markets COO / MLT updates, Investment reviews, and Steering Committees

Value, Prioritization & Execution

  • Identify and prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk reduction, scalability and strategic fit 
  • Own investment cases, sequencing decisions and budget accountability
  • Make and stand behind difficult trade offs when capacity, funding or timing constraints arise

Measurement & Outcomes

  • Define and track transformation success across multiple dimensions
  • Operational efficiency and cost
  • Risk reduction and control effectiveness
  • Time to market and scalability
  • Enablement of growth and innovation
  • Provide clear, outcome-focused reporting to senior collaborators

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in large-scale transformation within financial markets operations or clearing services, driving strategic target operating model change end to end.
  • Strong understanding of FMI operations or global markets and banking operations.
  • Experienced with change risk management techniques and change management frameworks.
  • Expertise in process automation technologies, process redesign and manual process elimination.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, governance and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to deep dive on detail.
  • Financial management skillsets in a transformation including capex and opex
  • Desired professional qualifications such as: Prince II, PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma
