The Opportunity

We are looking for a Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of Tech Nation’s Impact Initiatives: Climate, Creo and DeepTech. In this role, you will work closely with Programme Leads to execute the planning and delivery of these key programmes, ensuring they meet their strategic goals. This is a 6 month internship.

Impact Initiatives:

  • Climate: The Climate Programme supports leading UK and EU climate and nature tech startups at Seed and Series A. Over the course of 4 months, startups gain access to key stakeholders and leading advisory support to unlock their next phase of growth.
  • Landed: As part of our wider climate initiatives, Landed is our flagship forum dedicated to nature restoration and regenerative agriculture, held in collaboration with Daylesford. The forum is designed around a high-impact agenda, focused on scalable solutions, including how to achieve regenerative agriculture at scale, financing nature restoration and biodiversity and the critical links between nature and human health.
  • Creo: The UK’s first springboard programme for disabled founders and entrepreneurs innovating around disability. Now in it’s third year; Creo is a first-of-its-kind programme for founders, based on openness and intimacy. It consists of industry expert-led workshops, mentoring, disability policy and advocacy and peer-to-peer support.
  • DeepTech: A new initiative for Tech Nation launching in summer of 2026. It will bring together UK innovators building novel scientific or engineering breakthroughs making their way into products and companies for the first time.

As our Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in executing the planning and delivery of these initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Climate and Head of Early Stage Programmes, you will support them on programme management and will be instrumental in building a strong relevant network rallied around these initiatives. You'll work to engage strategic and commercial partners, founders, investors as well as alumni networks.  The result will be delivering a calendar of events and education across our platform member companies with strong engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high impact social and environmental initiatives; working day-to-day with some amazing startups and scaleups in the UK.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Programme research, ideation, & curation:
    • Support the Head of Climate and Head of Early Stage Programmes in researching and gathering information and industry insights, to help refine the strategy for the Climate and Creo programmes and Landed forum and DeepTech community; ensuring it is truly valuable to the community and the tech ecosystem.
    • Build relationships to identify and support Heads of Departments with the curation of valuable stakeholder and event invite lists for the various initiatives.
    • Support Heads of Departments to research speakers, investors and target founders and take part in the programmes and events.
  • Programme delivery:
    • Ensure we deliver an incredible experience for all companies in the programmes, that is impact driven and scalable
    • Support the organisation of a series of growth and investor based events, educational sessions and introductions that will appeal to founders.
    • Support the gathering of founder feedback and help Heads of Department to shape the support we can provide.
    • Collaborate with our Head of Partnerships to maintain communication with partners of the programmes and share useful data and case studies of our impact.
  • Community engagement:
    • Support Heads of Departments to scale the community by developing a pipeline of candidates for the Creo programme and DeepTech community via direct outreach, our partners and mobilising others in the ancillary network(s)
    • Maintain a close relationship with Climate, Creo and DeepTech companies, with day to day community management and align our services to their needs and goals
    • Work with the Heads of Department and wider team to execute and develop the alumni engagement strategy
    • Network to continually source advisors and experts who can add to our Tech Nation offering
    • Play a key role in regional development, keeping in touch with regional stakeholders and identifying regional early stage talent. This role will involve travelling round the UK to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Operational support and process optimisation:
    • Support the wider team to maintain and update our database systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping across Airtable and other platforms
    • Experiment with and implement automations and system integrations to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency
    • Develop new processes and tools that enhance team productivity and create value for founders

RequirementsThis role is for you if:
  • You are able to think proactively - you make things happen and can come to the table with ideas
  • You are able to stay organised to timelines and project manage multiple deliverables
  • You have entrepreneurial drive - this means you are self driven, naturally curious and excited about working with startups and scaleups
  • You are a people person and enjoy building relationships across different type of stakeholders and you enjoy bringing these people together to create impactful events or connections
