Job Description
In this role, you will be a part of strategic transformative efforts and champion new solutions that elevate Global Security's (GS's) impact worldwide and promote ongoing progress and innovation. You will also lead the Business Resiliency (BR) program across all Global Security (GS) functions - from planning through execution - partnering with key stakeholders to manage recovery strategies and oversee testing initiatives.
As a Program Manager within the Global Security (GS) Strategy & Innovation team, you will drive strategic initiatives that strengthen our firm's security and resiliency posture. The Strategy & Innovation team leads high-impact projects, collaborating across GS, Corporate Functions, and Lines of Business to deliver solutions that protect our employees and ensure business continuity.
Job responsibilities
  • Execute strategic initiatives and projects that support and advance the security mission, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and driving continuous improvement and innovation across Global Security.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Security teams to accelerate the adoption of progressive solutions and capabilities - including the adoption of AI/ML - and drive operational efficiency and growth across the department.
  • Orchestrate and execute red-teaming exercises, no-notice drills, and simulation activities to evaluate the effectiveness of security practices and protocols, identify opportunities, and recommend enhancements to strengthen the security posture across Global Security functions.
  • Design, implement, and deliver a comprehensive security education and awareness program to promote a culture of preparedness and resilience throughout the workforce.
  • Lead GS-wide BR planning initiatives, presenting key accomplishments, impact assessments, and analyses to senior leadership to secure necessary approvals.
  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of essential services and functional resiliency plans, facilitating coordinated response, escalation, and resolution during disruptions.
  • Collaborate with business function representatives, BR coordinators, and other stakeholders to analyze processes, develop and enhance robust BR plans, conduct business impact analyses, and ensure alignment with corporate, regulatory, and firmwide requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, with a keen eye for identifying and communicating potential risks.
  • Proven experience coordinating program activities within complex, global organizations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and consultative skills, particularly in resiliency planning and testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent, fact-based decisions, exercising sound judgment regarding escalation when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reviewing documentation and data, providing clear summary overviews and trend analyses for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with effective written and verbal communication across all levels of management.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on key issues and a proven track record of driving initiatives to successful completion.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage complex projects in demanding environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Proven experience in, or a deep understanding of, the private sector, with a preference for expertise within the financial industry.
  • Training and relevant certifications in business resiliency, business continuity, and penetration testing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques.
