Job Description
Location: Kraft-Heinz Worcester
Salary: £33,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
Working hours: 40hours per week, Monday - Friday

Role
The Worcester Site has entered into a key period of development, and we are looking for a Sanitation Expert to join our developing team. This role will head up the digital transformation within the FSQ team, support training or policies and processes and manage relationships between functions.

Key Components of the role

  • Responsible for continuing the implementation of Heinz Sanitation Programme throughout the Manufacturing Plant.
  • To facilitate communication and record keeping between the operations and wider FSQ team.
  • Manage chemical stock levels on site
  • Responsible for budgetary control and contract management with third party contractors and material suppliers e.g. general cleaners, chemical suppliers, and other relevant parties.
  • Responsible for facilitating and monitoring externally provided pest control activities on site and acting on recommendations as appropriate.
  • Ensures efficient use of labour, chemicals, tools and equipment to ensure cleaning meets the requirements of the Heinz Sanitation Programme.
  • Compliance with Heinz Quality Management System & Heinz Sanitation Programme.
  • Provides Leadership and training for Production personnel to complete production line and facility sanitation as required by site and company policies, procedures and records.
  • Creates and facilitates processes and policies to maintain a safe working environment for all on site.
  • Drives Continuous Improvement for Sanitation Programme at factory level.
  • Key requirement to carry out deep cleaning on packaging lines and process areas.


Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience within food industry or similar high risk environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of food safety and sanitation systems / processes.
  • Strong understanding and experience of working with digital record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, ability to talk to and involve personnel at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, report information/findings, develops recommendations and implement changes.
  • Strong leadership with proven ability to gain strong results through a team.
  • Self-starter with drive and initiative to meet and exceed demanding objectives.
  • All relevant training (e.g. Sanitarian, HACCP) is provided to successful applicants.
