The PITCH.

We are looking for a strong Production Director, with a robust understanding of both social media and production. You are someone confident leading production teams, building strong internal and client relationships, defining delivery frameworks and operationalising of the Creator, Affiliate, Influencer and Talent (CAIT) engine. You will support the integration of multiple workstreams to ensure seamless social media delivery across the account.

Your role will see you leading production on one of our largest and most exciting clients in EMEA, taking full authority over our production processes, delivery models, and commercial profitability while strengthening client & partner agency relationships both here in the UK and across EMEA.

Here’s where you come in…

  • Your main responsibilities as a Production Director will be to operationalise the CAIT function for a key EMEA client across two markets.
  • Architect and own the end-to-end production process within CAIT to ensure seamless, highly efficient content capture on location at third-party events, pop-ups, and brand activations.
  • Drive efficiencies that joins the dots between cultural signals and relevance across CAIT, Live Shopping, Experiential + proactive production ideas
  • Ensure Agency, Client, Vendor, and Legal processes and safety requirements are met across all production locations and event environments.
  • Strategically lead the commercial approach, staffing, ways of working, discipline leads, and clients to execute event content productions in a highly cost-effective and profitable way
  • Partner closely with Creative Leads and Production Directors to operationalise creator workflows, uphold a consistently high standard of production output, and drive continuous delivery improvements.
  • Lead on scope development and commercial structuring to determine deliverables, timeframes, budgets, operational workflows, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, drive commercial health, and manage and validate change requests as required.
  • Understand current and new partnership platforms - including entertainment sponsorships + fashion and cultural IP, that enables CAIT integration, experiential and amplification opportunities.
  • Work in sync with client calendar and real world moments that can be harnessed into reactive CAIT and culturally impactful production ideas, to show we’re always on to it.

Lead by example

  • Taking the driver’s seat and pushing the work forward, with a relentless focus on the details
  • Provide motivation and mentorship to the Producers and be the first point of escalation for issue/conflict resolution on all projects.
  • Partner with all Agency discipline leads (Client Partnership, Strategy, Creative, Media, Analytics, Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure client expectations, creative vision, and agency needs are met from briefing through final delivery on projects.
  • Tracking financial progression, ensuring it is shared and assessed, taking the lead in suggesting and making adjustments to the project and team as needed.
  • Constantly identifying risks and solutions - being the problem solver in ensuring we remain agile and strategic throughout the project lifecycle
  • Be heavily client-facing to speak to budget, timing, resource & process considerations, as well as ongoing delivery of our work.

We treasure Personality and Experience yet we do know that these qualifications lead to what WE KNOW as a success:

What you SHOULD KNOW about VaynerMedia

Think “lab” and not “agency”. We get excited about solving business problems, not creating advertising for the sake of making advertising. Our entrepreneurship DNA runs deep. We’re willing to break rules, try new things, and test hypotheses if it means better understanding our craft. It’s fun!

We believe 100% that brands can be built on digital platforms and part of our model is built bottom up, flipping the traditional advertising model and process on its head. We don’t play to agency/industry norms and our culture and energy reflects that.

Our environment (and pace) feels much more like a start-up than most agencies you might be used to. Hopefully that, and the opportunity to collaborate with the talented and enthusiastic crew, work with big brands excites you, as it does us. We can’t wait to meet you.
