Production Coordinators at One of Us are central to visual effects project management. Working closely with the VFX Producer and Line Producer, they assist artists and help work move through the pipeline. In implementing the project's task schedules and targets, they play a key role in the successful delivery of the project.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and diligent Production Coordinator with post production industry experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively.


Requirements
  • Receiving weekly targets as set by the Line Producer and VFX Producer.
  • Arranging, attending and managing briefing meetings and turnovers with VFX Supervisors and artists; ensuring that all briefing notes are shared.
  • Ensuring that artists have clarity on their schedules.
  • Accompanying supervisors and leads during daily Rounds and ensuring clear communication of feedback, updated briefs and schedule dependencies.
  • Monitoring artist activity and feeding back on progress to the Line Producer or Producer.
  • Dailies and client reviews: organising, running and note taking.
  • Maintaining asset and shot status and tracking artist progress against their schedule.
  • Staying across show status at all times and updating and maintaining the production database.
  • Keeping supervisors and artists up to date with information such as client notes, shot changes and brief changes.

Experience:

  • Previous experience for at least 1 year in a Production Assistant role or similar.
  • An excellent understanding of the VFX production process from concept to completion.
  • Good familiarity with post-production pipelines, techniques, and software.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with ShotGrid Software (essential).
  • Knowledge of Google and Microsoft Suites, especially spreadsheets (essential).
  • Basic editorial knowledge (desirable).
  • Basic Linux (desirable).

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills. 
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and adapt to changes during the production.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Hours and location 

Your contracted hours are 40 hours per week with one hour a day for lunch. The core working hours are 10:00am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday. We have a great office in Shoreditch where our artists are based. 

You would be required to work from the office in London at least 2 days per week.
