Boeing Defence UK engineering function operates a matrix organisation consisting of engineering departments that deliver technical skills, expertise and products into our programmes. This role will be in the Product Support Engineering Department. The Department consists of the following technical areas:
As a Product Support Engineer you would be called upon to support and integrate one or more of the Product Support disciplines, this will call upon your training and experience to review engineering data, conduct fleet data analysis, identify and act upon the impact and effect of engineering data analysis across the team and be accountable for building out core capabilities to identify opportunities to provide enhancements to improve Product Support and Platform performance. You will report to the BDUK Support Engineering Manager whilst being technically supported by your capability or program Lead and other specialists within the department.
In your role, you shall:
Aside from your technical work you there is the potential to support company initiatives, for example, quality improvements, promoting a safety culture, mentoring and coaching, STEM outreach and a number of focus projects to support the growth of the company and its employees.

The preferred candidate will have most of the following, with some considered essential:

- Work in a team and carry out the execution of contracted Product Support work
- Provide analytical capability to transform information and data
- Collaborating with other Engineering disciplines and the other Stakeholders, to ensure consistency of working methods and activities across all projects
- Conduct specialist tasks in the Product Support discipline you are employed within
- Coordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators and report status of Product Support activities
