Job Summary
The FreeWheel Product and Partnerships Solutions Group is looking for a creative, passionate, and motivated Product Solutions Engineer to support the delivery and activation of our product offerings. You will contribute to establishing best practices in product activation, provide technical expertise for client implementations, and help improve FreeWheel's offerings through insights gathered from client usage. You will communicate regularly with customers and partners to find solutions to technical challenges, working collaboratively with the Services organization, Product Management, Product Marketing, Revenue, and Engineering teams throughout the product development and Serviceability Lifecycle processes. You'll work alongside other team and cross-team members to address diverse client requirements and use cases.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Build expertise in one or more product areas within the FreeWheel platform suite
  • Assist with use case and requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, cross-functional testing, and go-to-market activities to ensure products meet success criteria and are ready for scale deployment
  • Help prepare and operationalize scalable Services support functionality and enablement across geo regions
  • Collaborate with Account teams, Product Management, and Engineering, supporting communication on product usage, gaps, and needs
  • Support assessment of technical feasibility, pilot opportunities, and implementation requirements that align with clients' technology architecture
  • Implement technical solutions for client projects with guidance from senior engineers and architects, addressing complex business requirements
  • Produce client implementation documentation (including playbooks) and provide technical training to internal teams, clients, and partners for assigned product areas
  • Provide timely technical support and problem resolution for escalated Services team questions

Skills:
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product functionality and technical concepts, including limitations, to internal and external audiences such as developers and technical stakeholders
  • Background or exposure with software implementation and systems integration skills
  • Ability to evaluate customer requirements and contribute in the determination of internal priorities
  • Ability to analyze data sets to inform business decisions
  • Experience in the online advertising/internet marketing or video/television advertising technology, dealing with media monetization
  • Experience working with 3rd party technology vendors in designing, deploying, and servicing solutions at scale
  • Excited to help large companies manage their successful use of enterprise-focused technology
  • Ability to contribute to projects with open collaboration and careful attention to customer requirements
  • Understanding of the value of the FreeWheel product suite and the ability to work in conjunction with the Product Management, Support Engineering and Account Management groups to devise strategies for Enterprise level solutions

Qualifications:
  • More than 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent degree in computer science desired
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and HTTP methods for customer implementation guidance
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Kibana, Grafana, or equivalent BI software
  • Experience with data analysis and processing: SQL, cURL, etc
  • Working knowledge or experience with IAB standards including VAST, openRTB, and Privacy Frameworks is a big plus
  • Working knowledge or experience with web technologies such as: HTTP, HTML5, XML, etc is a big plus
  • Working knowledge or experience with Object Oriented Programming: JS, Python, etc is a big plus

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
