The Team:
The Pricing Manager will be joining our Global Product Management Organization, reporting into our Head of Global Product Pricing. The team has responsibility for structuring what we sell, how and at what price. We're a leading technology business, with a global customer base that continues to scale and expand. The breadth and depth of our solutions are evolving rapidly, and the pricing team has a critical role in defining strategies that balance the short and long term success of the business.
The Role:
As a Pricing Manager at Celonis you’ll build the pricing model for our products and solutions, working with GTM, Analytics, Engineering and Finance teams to develop and test our pricing strategies.
This position requires strong capabilities in both strategy (analytical prowess, data-driven thinking, creativity, strong business acumen) and execution (conviction and ownership, ability to convert insights into actions, focus on delivering results).
The successful candidate will be based out of our Madrid office hub.
The work you’ll do:
- Drive highly visible projects for Celonis, working cross-functionally to structure problems, assess revenue and monetization opportunities, and work towards solutions and meaningful recommendations.
- Leverage internal and external data to deliver proactive analyses and insights, leading to recommendations, decisions and actions.
- Support the development of our pricing strategies in alignment with our revenue, adoption and margin goals.
- Collaborate with leaders in GTM, Marketing, Product & Engineering, Finance and other cross-functional organizations to craft new business models, define monetization strategies for new offerings, and optimize pricing & packaging for existing products and solutions.
- Deliver monthly executive level reviews on pricing performance and provide go forward recommendations.
The qualifications you need:
- 2+ years of experience developing, delivering and implementing pricing strategies in the enterprise software industry (SaaS).
- Solid experience in data modeling and analyses, statistics, and causal inference.
- Ability to write Python code that is efficient and clean (SQL expected).
- Analytical rigor, the drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of value-based pricing methodologies.
- Understanding of enterprise software sales cycles.
- Master in Economics or related degree subjects covering Marketing and Pricing, Statistics or similar.
