We are seeking an experienced Product Owner for a 6-month contract to be embedded with our customer, a leading operator in the aviation industry, where you will lead a product area and shape the end-to-end product experience. In this customer-facing role, you will set clear direction, deliver against a robust roadmap and take accountability for product outcomes, ensuring safe and reliable operation while creating measurable value for the customer's business and their partners. Working closely with the customer's cross-functional teams of engineers, QA and designers, you will drive execution excellence and champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Please note: the successful candidate will be required to go to our customers Central London office 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Set clear goals for your product area, aligned to the customer's broader product vision and strategy
- Define and prioritise your roadmap, using the customer's business priorities, customer insight, data and technical considerations to guide decisions
- Work closely with the customer's cross-functional team of engineers, QA and designers to deliver high-quality product outcomes
- Champion a culture of experimentation, using A/B testing and data-led hypotheses to validate ideas, optimise performance and inform product decisions
- Evaluate and prioritise new opportunities and features, balancing commercial value with customer insight and strategic fit
- Apply and evolve agile ways of working to best suit your team and product, continuously improving effectiveness
- Be accountable for the performance, quality and reliability of the live product, ensuring safe and reliable operation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the customer's business and with external partners, ensuring clear and transparent communication on priorities and progress
- Manage product investment effectively, ensuring delivery aligns to agreed budgets and delivers measurable value
Required skills
- Experienced Product Owner with a track record of leading agile delivery and building high-quality digital product experiences
- Think in outcomes over output, using data, customer insight and experimentation to inform decisions and measure success
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to clearly connect your product to wider business and customer value
- Experience managing product investment and working within budgets
- Ability to define and deliver clear, prioritised product roadmaps, creating transparency around priorities, dependencies and progress
- Comfortable working across end-to-end product experiences, collaborating closely with engineering
- Confident communicator who creates clarity and alignment across a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners
- Experienced in working within complex product environments, whether that's shared platforms, reusable capabilities or customer-facing journeys
Desirable skills
- Experience working in the aviation industry or adjacent sectors with complex regulatory or operational requirements
- Familiarity with cloud, data or AI-driven product environments
- Track record of launching products or features that have delivered significant customer or business impact
