Help us help keep people safe and businesses working efficiently. Named as one of Built In Colorado’s Best Places to Work for seven years in a row, KPA is made up of talented individuals working together for the greater good. We’re here to help our clients build safe, thriving organizations, and we’re looking for people with a common goal to help us do it.

Position Overview

At KPA, we’re on a mission to help organizations strengthen their safety and compliance culture, protect their people, and reduce risk.  As a Product Owner, you’ll play a critical role in turning product strategy into meaningful, customer-loved solutions.
If you thrive at the intersection of customer needs, business strategy, and technical execution — and you love seeing your work ship to real users — we’d love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  •
  • Turn Vision into Value
  • Partner closely with the Product Manager and UX to understand strategic priorities, customer challenges, and business objectives.
  • Translate big-picture strategy into clear, actionable user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog to maximize customer impact and business value.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer
  • Champion the end user throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Make thoughtful trade-offs between usability, customer value, and technical feasibility.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive Execution
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions to keep engineering focused and aligned.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering, UX, and QA to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure shipped functionality meets acceptance criteria and solves real-world problems.
  • Support release readiness and clearly communicate progress, updates, and outcomes.
  • Continuously Improve
  • Use data, feedback, and curiosity to uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Help evolve product and team processes to increase speed, clarity, and quality.
  • Bring a mindset of ownership — always looking for ways to elevate both the product and the team.

Qualifications (Required):

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar product delivery role in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with EHS, compliance, risk, or regulatory-driven software strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to confidently collaborate with engineers, designers, stakeholders, and customers.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability. You don’t just manage tasks — you drive results.

Compensation:

  • Annual Base Salary Range of 110-130k
  • Annual Bonus Opportunity of 10%

Physical Requirements:

  • Working on a computer, typing, and viewing a screen - all of the time
  • Stationary sitting or standing - all of the time
  • Hearing and listening - most of the time
  • Ability to travel to local, regional, or national events - infrequently

London isn't just a hub for established businesses; it's also a nursery for innovation. Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
