Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Product Owner helps translate business needs into functional software solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with Product Management and Engineering to define and deliver product features that are valuable, usable, and feasible. This person will play a key role in supporting the development of our Voice AI product, helping translate telephony-driven requirements into clear, actionable work for engineering teams. You’ll maintain a healthy backlog, break down requirements into user stories, and help ensure high-quality delivery through two-week sprint cycles.

We’re looking for someone with 4–5 years of Product Owner experience in a B2B SaaS environment and a strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) development. Experience working with telephony technology (VoIP, SIP, call routing, IVR, or similar platforms) is required, as this role supports the development of our Voice AI product.

You should be comfortable managing product backlogs, writing clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and collaborating closely with engineering teams. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are key. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Asana is helpful.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Backlog Management: Own, define, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is transparent, visible, and clearly articulated to the development team.

  • Voice AI Product Support: Support the ongoing development of our Voice AI platform, translating telephony-based product requirements into user stories and engineering tasks.
  • User Story Creation: Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria to guide the development process.

  • Sprint Planning and Execution: Actively participate in all Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure the team is focused on delivering the highest value.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on progress, managing expectations, and gathering feedback.

  • Requirement Clarification: Be available to the development team to answer questions, clarify requirements, and make quick decisions to remove roadblocks.

  • Acceptance of Work: Review and accept completed work from the development team to ensure it meets the defined user story and acceptance criteria.

  • Feature Prioritization: Constantly evaluate and re-prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, and market feedback.
