Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI) is a market leader in online casino and sports betting, currently operating real-money gaming with our brands: BetRivers.com, PlaySugarHouse.com, and RushBet.co. We’re building bridges between online, social and land-based gaming businesses to create amazing, integrated experiences that keep players in the game.

We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead our Gamification efforts - an area that is critical to enhancing player engagement and retention. In this role, you’ll be at the center of crafting experiences that elevate gameplay beyond traditional casino mechanics, driving innovation through engaging, reward-driven features. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute a gamification roadmap that aligns with our business goals, ensuring a seamless, immersive, and motivating experience for our players. If you are a proactive problem-solver, passionate about player engagement, and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is your opportunity to shape the future of gamified experiences in online gaming.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and drive the Casino Gamification roadmap, defining features that enhance player engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Work closely with designers, data analysts, engineers, and marketing teams to conceptualize and deliver high-impact gamification mechanics.
  • Leverage player insights, data analytics, and industry trends to design compelling reward structures, missions, challenges, and progression systems.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business impact, player value, and feasibility, ensuring alignment with broader product and company goals.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver visually compelling and frictionless gamification features that seamlessly integrate into the casino and sportsbook experiences.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and A/B testing to optimize mechanics and drive continuous iteration.
  • Act as the internal champion for gamification, advocating for its role in driving engagement while balancing compliance and responsible gaming considerations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for leadership on engagement and retention strategies related to gamification.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and player-centric decision-making across your team.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, design or a related field.
  • 5+ years in product management, game design, or a related field, with at least 2 years focused on gamification or player engagement mechanics.
  • Proven experience in gamification, engagement mechanics, loyalty programs, or behavioral design - ideally in the online casino, sportsbook, or gaming space.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles, progression systems, reward structures, and player psychology.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics tools to evaluate feature performance and optimize engagement.
  • Ability to work in agile product development environments, with a track record of shipping impactful features.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate vision into execution with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for online gaming, user experience, and creating products that keep players coming back for more. #LI-REMOTE
