Working in close partnership with the Product Manager, you will play a critical role in translating product strategy into executable deliverables. While Product Managers define the vision, value proposition, and roadmap, you will ensure that this vision is technically feasible, well-structured, and effectively delivered.
You will act as the bridge between business requirements and technology, breaking down complex planning needs into clear, actionable workstreams. You will also challenge assumptions when needed, ensuring that solutions are aligned with platform capabilities, architectural standards, and scalable design principles.
This role requires strong organizational skills, technical acumen, and experience with enterprise planning platforms—ideally similar to Board.
Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with the product roadmap
  • Translate high-level product strategy into detailed user stories, workflows, and technical requirements
  • Assess and validate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions, challenging assumptions where necessary
  • Break down complex IBP use cases into structured development workstreams
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
  • Ensure alignment between design, architecture, and platform capabilities
  • Take ownership of the technical delivery and output quality of the development team
  • Validate end-to-end workflows, ensuring consistency, usability, and performance
  • Support cross-functional integration across:
    • Financial Planning (FP&A)
    • Commercial Planning
    • Supply Chain Planning
    • S&OP
    • Workforce & Strategic Planning
  • Contribute to solution design decisions, ensuring adherence to best practices and platform strengths
  • Support customer-facing activities, including implementations, demos, and solution validation
  • Stay up to date with trends in IBP, connected planning, and planning technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in enterprise software or planning solutions
  • Strong experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), S&OP or related domains
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
  • Experience working with planning platforms (e.g., Board, Anaplan, SAP IBP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of data models, workflows, and system design within planning solutions
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Strong organizational and backlog management skills
  • Ability to challenge and refine product requirements based on technical constraints and best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Board platform or similar multidimensional planning technologies
  • Background in consulting, transformation programs, or enterprise implementations
  • Familiarity with enterprise-wide planning frameworks and architectures
  • Exposure to AI-driven planning, forecasting, or scenario modeling
