The Product Owner is responsible for liaising between users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical way. By acting as Product Owners, they coordinate with the Technology team and ensure change goals are met. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative improvement of our systems by understanding what steps are to be taken and assisting in coordinating and reporting them.

Team/Role Overview

The Product Processor technology team looks after four applications responsible for the Global subledger systems for Derivatives and Cash Securities. This existing team is part of the Finance, Markets, Credit Risk Technology group. It has a Global presence and connects with different sets of stakeholders at the company including Market Controllers and Risk Managers.

What you’ll do

  • Capture and triage new requests from users and regulatory initiatives
  • Assist with Book of Work prioritization and interdependency management
  • Apply problem solving skills to resolve different types of challenges
  • Lead Agile practices to ensure completion of delivery
  • Mobilize and drive cross-department interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage stakeholder communication and expectations

What we’ll need from you

  • Agile Product Owner and Scrum Master experience
  • Technical Project Management skills
  • Organisational and Planning skills
  • Familiar with User Requirements capture methodologies
  • Technical analysis
  • Experience in working with a Global, fast paced team in a matrix environment
